Player prop bets, often called “props,” focus on individual players' actions rather than the overall game result. They're popular in various sports, especially in football. In the NFL, these bets zoom in on specific player achievements like a quarterback's touchdowns, a running back's total yards, or a receiver's catches.
You'll find two kinds of NFL player props. The first, statistical props, involve actual game numbers—think touchdowns or yards. The second, non-statistical props, include bets like whether a player will score the first touchdown.
Looking for a place to try these out? Head over to a major sportsbook. For instance, DraftKings Sportsbook offers a menu of bets for any NFL game. If you're interested in this Thursday Night Football matchup of the Cincinnati Bengals and the Baltimore Ravens, check out the TD Scorers tab for various scoring options. If stats are more your thing, the Rush/Rec Props tab will guide you to bets on carries, receptions, or total yards. These prop bets add a thrilling layer to NFL game-watching, as fans and bettors focus on individual players' achievements.
We are back with another great Thursday Night Football matchup, this time featuring an AFC North showdown between the Baltimore Ravens and the Cincinnati Bengals. The division has become intensely competitive, with the Ravens narrowly leading at 7-3 and the Bengals trailing in last place at a still solid 5-4. After a poor start to the year, Joe Burrow and the Bengals have managed a great turnaround and have gone from well out of contention to within two games of the Ravens. Meanwhile, the Ravens are well situated at the top, but dropped a tough game last week, making the stakes of this game ever so higher for both teams involved. Today, we are looking at a quarterback to continue his hot streak, a running back to continue delivering for one of the most lethal rushing attacks in the league, an all-timer kicker to show his prowess, and a same-game parlay that has been excellent this year. Though we are suggesting these as individual NFL Player Props, they do line up incredibly well if you are interested in playing them together as a parlay. Looking at the head-to-head matchup between these two teams earlier this season, this parlay was perfect, meaning there is a great shot for it to occur again.
Joe Burrow o1.5 Passing TDs (-110) (DK) | NFL Player Props
The struggles of the Bengals early on in the season can be largely attributed to the struggles of Burrow, who was dealing with a nagging leg injury. It seems the mercurial quarterback has made a recovery, however, as he has managed a great streak over the past five games, hitting this line in all five of them. Over this stretch, he has averaged 2.4 passing touchdowns per game, giving him a great cushion over this line. Though he will be without one of his best threats in Tee Higgins, who will miss the game due to injury, the inspired performances of Ja’Marr Chase over the past several weeks should sufficiently illustrate that Burrow can still get it done.
A great sign of this potential is Burrow’s performance against the Ravens earlier this year. Though the Ravens boast one of the stronger secondaries in the league, a banged-up Burrow and a struggling Bengals team overall were still able to put up two passing touchdowns. The form coming into this game is monumental for the young quarterback and should be enough to push him past this line as we have seen over the last month or so.
Gus Edwards o45.5 Rushing Yards (-115) (DK) | NFL Player Props
Before last week’s narrow loss, the Ravens had been rolling, in large part due to the efficacy of their rushing attack. At the helm of that unit is Gus Edwards who has taken the lead role and performed incredibly so far. On the year, Edwards has converted this line in a fantastic 70% of his games, making the implied odds for this line -233. While last week he was stopped short by one of the elite run-stopping units of the NFL, he had managed to hit this line in all three games prior.
From a matchup perspective, there is strong evidence that Edwards can continue to play well. Cincinnati has the 23rd-ranked rush defense in the league in terms of yards allowed, giving up a healthy 92.6 yards per game to running backs and 136.2 rushing yards per game total. On the year, Edwards has averaged 50.2 yards on the ground, giving a cushion to this line, especially when considering what the Bengals typically allow.
Better yet, Edwards has already had a successful game against the Bengals this year. In the prior game between the two teams, Edwards gashed the Cincinnati defense for 62 yards. With plenty of solid performances and a clear role within the offense, Edwards has all he needs to continue finding success for this line and should have a great opportunity to hit here again in this game.

Justin Tucker o6.5 Kicking Points (-135) (DK) | NFL Player Props
While it is rare to look at lines for kickers, it is even more rare to find one as potent as Justin Tucker. The future Hall of Famer has continued his brilliance this year, particularly as of late. Coinciding with the success of his team, Tucker has hit this line in five straight games, to go with a great 60% hit rate on the season.
Over this stretch, Tucker has been crushing this line, seeing him maintain a strong average of 10.6 kicking points per game. To the benefit of Tucker, he has a great chance to hit this line regardless of how the game turns out: whether it is a high-scoring affair or a typical cagey AFC North defensive showdown, his role will be pronounced either through PATs or FGs.
Similarly to all the plays listed so far, Tucker has already hit this line once this year against the Bengals. In their earlier game this season, the kicker hit for a solid 9 points, giving even more confidence in his ability to hit this line again.
Cincinnati Bengals @ Baltimore Ravens (+120) | Same Game Parlay
We are going to be featuring one parlay which we believe has great upside potential for this game. This week we are looking at a two-leg parlay, featuring Odell Beckham Jr. recording at least 25 receiving yards and Mark Andrews recording at least 40 receiving yards. Beckham has turned it on as of late for Baltimore, becoming one of the leading options when it comes to the passing attack. Over the last several games, Beckham has found himself well over this line, making it clear that his role moving forward is going to be far more pronounced. Alongside him is the indomitable Mark Andrews, who has been dominant against this line, hitting in all but one game where he played this year and averaging a fantastic 57.9 yards receiving on the year. Though Baltimore is built on its rushing attack, quarterback Lamar Jackson is having one of the best seasons of his career and has shown just how lethal the team can be through the air as well. To keep up with the high-flying offense of the Bengals, the passing game will be vital and these two players should have a vital role in making that happen.
In review, we are taking:
This is currently being offered for +120 on DraftKings, but running it through our parlay optimizer, in home games for the Ravens, this parlay has been perfect, hitting in three out of three games with both players involved.
Looking closer at how this parlay performed in the matchup earlier this year, this bet also hit, giving it a perfect head-to-head record.
Looking at the entire year, this bet has still hit in a fantastic 71% of games, giving it implied odds of -250.
